Understanding the culture of the markets
To gain genuine intercultural competence, a
comprehensive understanding of one’s own origins and the cultural
background of one’s counterpart are indispensable. With the
objective of measurably increasing the utilization of the potential
in multinational work groups, we have developed modular training
offers for cultural sensitization and country-specific preparation,
which go beyond a superficial “Don’t offer alcoholic
drinks to an Arab!”
Here, interested parties learn how to develop a sense for the added
value of multicultural teams and how to identify, formulate, and
resolve misunderstandings arising from cultural reasons. Each offer
builds didactically and methodically on the content of the previous
offer, and comprehensive practical exercises help to quickly transfer
the knowledge gained into reality. |
